Greetings! I’m Moon, a 26-year-old writer and artist living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Spirituality has been a part of my life since my high school years, and even though I’ve come and gone from various stages of spiritual interest and development, I always keep coming back to it. I’m fond of dream work, tarot, visual and written arts, and anything that inspires the magic of our world.

I don’t quite have any official labels for myself, but I do consider myself a bit witchy. I resonate quite well with the concepts of intention, ritual, and mindfulness — concepts that go hand-in-hand with what much of the spiritual community refers to as witchcraft. I’ve recently begun working with Morpheus, which is a bit unusual for me, because I’ve spent most of my life with no particularly strong feelings toward any deity in particular. Morpheus seems to be what I need right now, so I welcome this new journey with open arms.

INTUITIVE ART

Intuitive art — or spirit art, as I often refer to it — is a craft I began several years ago, around the time I was graduating from high school. I honestly couldn’t tell you how, when, or why I began doing it; it was simply something I felt interested in trying. I practiced with dozens of volunteers on a spiritual forum I was part of, and received so much positive feedback that I began wondering if this craft was something I was meant to perfect over time. That seems to have been the case, because over the last several years, I kept wanting to come back to it. It’s a surreal and uplifting experience that I will elaborate on throughout this blog. Perhaps documenting it — and seeing my progress — will help me stick to it this time!
